Sik Silk Clothing - Check Out The Latest Range of Vests, Baseball Jerseys, T-Shirts and Much More
With its distinct blend of US, British and Japanese influences Sik Silk clothing has been getting a great deal of attention since its beginnings back in 2012. Despite being a UK brand from the North of England, you could be forgiven for thinking that Sik Silk began its journey on a path that took it from east coast New York down to Florida Keys. Bold colours, combined with US sport led styles such as baseball vests and hockey shirts set the brand apart. There is nothing sport shop about these styles however, they are all about individualism. One of our favourites for this season is the basketball vests; or if you are looking for something a bit more kick back and relaxed, consider putting together some of Sik Silk's fantastic sweat pants and hoodie combo's.
We first came across Sik Silk when it really started to hit the streetwear scene in 2013. Since then it has become a 2014 finalist in the prestigious Drapers Retail Week Etail Awards. This is true testimony to the innovative and positive style of the brand. Much of the range is characterised by the distinctive Sik Silk scripted logo. Its clear that this fits in with the Dodgers style baseball influences that the company has really embraced, giving the whole package a superb retro feel. We love the long sleeve tees of the new range. Sik Silk has dropped the full signature logo on some of these in favour of the SS scripted logo, which we are sure will broaden the appeal of the brand over into bars and clubs. Of course if something bolder is your thing, don't despair the rose, palm tree and flamingo print curved hem t-shirts of the new range are real head turners..go on, be brave!
Its exciting to see that Sik Silk has also this year opened its offerings up into the footwear market. Their low and mid lux trainers come in a range of red, black or white and whereas some of the clothes are all about bringing together a mix of colours, these stand out for quite the opposite reason; one colour uppers and soles, again mixing up contemporary and retro with shell style influences. They have a real quality feel, particularly as they are adorned with a fabulous gold Sik Silk embossed gold badge across the bottom lace a really nice touch; which we have no doubt will put them in great demand.
Sik Silk might only just be starting out but has already become a firm favourite for a number of reality TV stars including Geordie Shores 'Gaz' and he can be seen wearing the brand frequently on the TV show. Some of the UKK team were in Ibiza last summer and it has to said that reports were that every other cool guy was wearing either a Sik Silk bask vest or a t-shirt at some of the white Islands hottest venues.
Some of our favourite new arrivals from this seasons range include the Pique Zipped Hoodie sporting the SS White logo on the chest, the Black Splat curved hem Tee and Sik Silks Red Rose Baseball Tee with Black stripes, SS Gold logo, three quarter length zipper and red roses on the shoulders.
