Last Streetwear Drops of 2017
Posted on 30 November 2017
Looking back through 2017, we have had some phenomenal drops this year! Including some real iconic collaborations that have done a lot for the “Culture”. The Louis Vuitton x Supreme collab was probably one of THE most hyped up drops of the year. The pieces were ridiculously difficult to get your hands on, and the resale prices were through the roof! Kanye West has also had a good year. He briefly stepped away from his Yeezy empire for the Calabasas collection with Adidas. Just last week we arguably saw one of the best collabs of the year; Pharrell Williams x Chanel x Adidas came together to create the NMD Hu which looked crazy!
So we thought we’d look at some of the last highly anticipated drops of 2017...
Supreme x North Face
Bearing in mind it was what? -1, -2 this morning. Needless to say it was FREEZING! But that didn't matter, as the second half of the Supreme x North Face collab dropped today. So there were a lot of highly dedicated fans soldiering it out from 5am, in ice cold temperatures trying to get their hands on it. Some of our favourites from this collab are the 700 down baltoro jacket, nuptse blanket and the 6-panel hats! Whether you went outside to brave to elements, or stayed at home and tried online, tag us on social media if you managed to get anything from this collection.
Wood Wood x Vans
Also dropping today, the final capsule collection of the 15-year anniversary celebration; Vans x Wood Wood. The Copenhagen brand came together with Vans to put a twist on the classic Old Skool silhouette. You cannot miss the handwritten style "FOREVER NOW" and "NOW FOREVER" on the bottom soles giving these shoes personality. The shoes will be available in 2 colourways, but there will be limited stock so don't deliberate for too long.
Nike x Acronym
Acronym designer Errolson Hugh has previously created a black version of these back in 2015. But next month (2nd December - 10am) he's bringing them back in all white! The new Acronym Lunar Force 1 is a part of Nike’s AF100 collection. You will also see a remix of the classic Air Force shoe from celebrities like Travis Scott, Kareem “Biggs” Burke, and Off Virgil Abloh.
Travis Scott x Nike
As previously mentioned Mr. Scott is a part of the Nike’s AF100 collection, to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Force 1. This hands down must be one of the most creative collabs we have seen it a while! Musicians often team up with shoe companies, but you rarely see a shoe that embodies their whole being and personality. This Air Force 1 creation screams Travis Scott, he wanted the shoe to show that he is "the acid of rap"! There will be removable Swoosh logo's, velcro patches and iced out grills on the laces. If you want to get your hands on these bad boys, they will be released on 5th December - 8am.
Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Blue Tint
Last but not least, we've got the last ever drop of Kanye West's 350 V2 collection! We have seen many colourways of this over the past few years, so if you've never been lucky enough to get a pair, now is your last chance! These will be released 16th December.
As early next year it's been revealed that the new Mud Rat 500's are being released! Now these I cannot wait for, the new shape looks amazing.
Until next time guys.
