Bestseller Group - Summer Party at their London Showrooms
Posted on 09 September 2016

Summer is in it's final flashes but to celebrate the season we were invited along to the Bestsellers Groups Annual Summer Party. Their London offices are located right in the hub of the London fashion scene in trendy Shoreditch, on none other than Fashion Street. Bestsellers home is in a warehouse with a difference which has been beautifully fitted out. The showrooms house several of our hottest and their biggest brands including Jack & Jones, Only, Vero Moda, Only & Sons, Vila and Noisy May to name but a few.
Bestseller are the king of the new and hip, and the evening was no different, all about the cool scene. Fashion industry figures from all over the UK arrived on the top floor in the glass lift. The guest list included well-know retailers, the main agents for some of the UK's biggest brands and a host of other movers and shakers. Waiters serving up mouth-watering miniature bites in cute paper cups, locally produced beers from The Camden Town Brewery and the cocktail of the moment the Martini Espresso. The walls of the warehouse oozed cool, sophistication and the outside walls of Fashion Street have a cool all their own. Graffiti emblazoned doors, doodles and drawings all with a nod to the areas fashion roots.
Events like these are a great way to network and catch up with reps from the Bestseller brands we work closely with and also let our hair down with other contacts from lots of the other brands we stock here at UK Kolours. Being new on the scene, a warehouse full of the best dressed was certainly eye opening for me. These guys definitely know how to let down their hair! Super stylish Rosie from scandinavian favourite ONLY welcomed me and gave me the rundown on the exciting things for the season ahead. We made plans with Carolyn from Vero Moda and Noisy May about potential marketing tie-ups we are looking at for later this year and Jamie the UK country manager from Only & Sons was his usual entertaining self! I have to be honest the number of fantastic industry people I met on the night made my head spin a little, or maybe that was just the Martini Espresso's. Same time next year?
