Top 10 Things to do During Lockdown

Staying in is the new going out but it doesn’t have to be boring. There are all sorts of things you can do to entertain yourself whilst you’re stuck at home. From tie-dye galore to baking a new recipe, we’ve searched high and low for fun things to do when you’re bored in the house and in the house bored.

Take a look at our top 10 things to do during lockdown.

1)    Host a virtual pub quiz night

Houseparty and Zoom are perfect for hosting a virtual pub quiz night with your mates. Nominate yourself as quiz master and create a super fun quiz with lots of different rounds to entertain your friends on a Saturday night.

2)    Tie-dye legit anything

3)    Clear out your wardrobe

Is your wardrobe full of clothes you no longer wear? Guilty! Use this free time to clear out your old clothes. Compile a pile of unwanted items to either sell on Depop or eBay or to take to the charity shop when they reopen again.

Once your wardrobe is clutter-free, take the time to organise your wardrobe. Who knows, you might even discover an old fave!

4)    Create a photo album or scrapbook

Now is the time to get those creative juices flowing!

Download an app such as FreePrints to get up to 45 free 6x4 prints a month. Once you’ve built up a collection of your fave pics, use them to document your 2019 holiday or festival experiences in a scrapbook or create a photo album of your memories from Uni.

5)    Bake something new

Bring your new-found creativity to the kitchen too…

Who else is seeing homemade banana bread all over their Insta feed? Mix it up a lil and try baking something new. Dig out a recipe book and bake a batch of cupcakes, cookies, flapjacks or millionaire shortbreads. Go wild with the decoration too!
