All Points East, Victoria Park, London

More than just a bank holiday event, the Victoria Park festival actually runs for 10 whole days, from Friday 24 May - Sunday 2 June. Now in its second year, it’s the ultimate go-to destination this Bank Holiday weekend. With headliners including The Chemical Brothers, The Strokes and Christine and the Queens. If you’re looking to catch a vibe on a budget, check out the ‘In The Neighbourhood’ event for free which also takes place in Victoria Park. It’s 4-days packed with live music, street food, circus, dance, outdoor cinema and more.

Thames Lates

Boat trip anyone? The Thames Lates speeds you across the river Thames with cocktails and summer tunes– the perfect combo! During the 50-minute ride you’ll see iconic sights like the London Eye, Tower of London and Gherkin whilst cruising into the sunset. What a better way to kick off summertime in London.

Go retro with Back to the Future on Saturday 26th, or indulge in the ultimate rom com with Bridget Jones’s Diary on Sunday 27th. How cool? You get to watch a film in a unique setting and take in the stunning views surrounding the city.

Feria de Londres, South Bank, London

Wouldn’t it be great to hop on a plane to Marbella for a minibreak this bank holiday weekend? If that idea sounds unrealistic to pull off in such little time, then this authentic Andalusian Spring fair taking place in London is the next best thing! On Saturday 26th – Sunday 27th May, traditional entertainers, flamenco workshops, tantalising tapas and mouthwatering churros will bring Spanish sunshine to the South Bank. And unlike a plane ticket, it won’t cost you a penny!
